How to Change Ubuntu Default Font & Increase Screen Font Size

It’s easy to change system font on Ubuntu using the GNOME Tweaks app. This tool is available to install for free from the Ubuntu Software Center

You can install it by clicking this button:

Install GNOME Tweaks from Ubuntu Software Center

Or run this terminal command in a new terminal window:

sudo apt install gnome-tweaks

steps to change font on Ubuntu using our tool

  1. open “tweak” app that we installed
  2. Go to the ‘Fonts‘ section
  3. Choose a new font for ‘Interface Text‘, ‘Document Text’, ‘Monospace Text’, ‘Legacy Window titles’.
  4. you can also change size of font / modify scaling factor etc..
