You can launch search engines in Firefox by typing a term into the address bar at the top of the screen.

The steps in this guide were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.2.

The version of Firefox you are using is the latest available at the time of this writing.

Note that this will only affect the search engine that is used when entering a search query into the address bar at the top of the screen. You can still go directly to the search engine and use it yourself.

Step 1: Open Firefox.

Step 2: Tap the Menu icon in the bar at the bottom of the screen.

If this bar is not displayed, swipe down on the screen.

Step 3: Swipe left on the popup menu.

Step 4: Tap the "Settings" icon.

Step 5: Select the "Search" option from the "General" menu.

Step 6: Click on your current search engine in the "Default Search Engine" section at the top of the screen.

Step 7: Choose a new default search engine for the Firefox browser on your iPhone.
