How To: Byrons Malted Oreo Milkshake

By Britishcouture
Now if anyone has ever had the pleasure of tasting Byrons Malted Oreo Milkshake you will understand this recipe completely; and despite it being Winter, it is never too cold for one of these bad boys. After waking up the other morning craving one I decided to get all the ingredients and make one. I shamefully used no measurements, in hope that there would be plenty left over for the fridge. And yes of course there is.
You will need:
A food blender
As many Oreo cookies as you like. I used 8 in total. These also aren't 'Oreos' as you know them, these babies are Neos from Lidls and they taste just as good.
The best Vanilla Ice Cream you can get your mitts on.
And some good ol' milk.
Oh and chocolate syrup, and 1 teaspoon of sugar if you have a super sweet tooth.

Break all your cookies up into small bits.

To your food blender add some generous scoops of ice cream, a cup of milk and 2 table spoons of chocolate syrup, and blend.

Make sure you get the consistency right. Simply add more ice cream if the liquid is too runny. Then add the best ingredient of all: broken Oreos.

And blend!

Pour into a glass and serve with an oreo on the side. Cute eh? And it tastes damn good. Slurp!

p.s of course it's not the same as having the real thing in its gorgeous stainless steel cup
