Support local and live Pokémon GO communities around the world to enhance their experiences.

They can get special benefits for their communities, such as:

Participate in special feedback sessions
Contact with Niantic
Opportunities to contribute to the growth of the community

What role does a Community Ambassador play?

The Community Ambassador can voluntarily host events in their local community in exchange for Niantic’s thanks and support.

What is Niantic looking for in a Community Ambassador?

Diversity; Pokémon GO Trainers include people of many nationalities, identities, and ethnicities.
Professionalism and quality of character; recognition by Niantic.
Ambassadors must always treat others with respect, honesty and kindness.
Positivity; they grow in the image and likeness of their leaders, and the best communities are built by creating and highlighting the positive, not focusing on the negative.
Criticism should be met with respect, never with cruelty or anger.
Security; As a Pokemon Go ambassador, they must strive to ensure that both their communities and the spaces in which they play are safe.
Integrity; Avoid cheating in any way.

How can I be a Community Ambassador?

Niantic uses the Silph Road level and ranking system.

Leaders who have reached rank 4 on the Silph Road community pages can apply to be a Pokemon Go Ambassador.
