I get told constantly that my eldest daughter Jordanna looks like me or is in face my double, mini me etc.
here is a photo of us both at around 5/6 years of age. I am on stage with Orville.

Now with Izebella, people often say they don’t know who she looks like or even that she does not look like me. I have to disagree there. As today I took a photograph of her which has a striking resemblance to a photograph taken of myself when I was around her age.

Again that’s me on the left and Izebella on the right. God only knows what my parents were thinking dressing me in those awful clothes. I look like a damn boy.
Anyway the messy hair do is near enough the same on both photographs. As are the chubby little cheeks and the smile behind the dummy. The clothes obviously being much much better.
Then there is Ryan but he’s a boy and lucky to be naturally blonde unlike us red heads. I don’t think Ryan looks much like me but may wrong.
It’s strange. When people tell me my children look like me I don’t see it. Not until I put 2 photographs together from when I was there age and then it’s almost like looking at the same person with an updated background.
