How Do You Pray to God? Response to a Question

The question was asked, "How do you pray to God?" The brief answer is simple. You speak to Him from your heart as though you are speaking to your very best friend or a great parent. It is true that there are set vocal prayers that you can say and which our Father does desire to hear. But what He yearns for most of all is intimacy with us - both the content and the process. So effective prayer to God entails our simple speaking to Him from the heart about everything that goes on in our lives, even though He already knows everything, because He desires a true Father-child relationship.
