Plot: A mysterious young drifter named Eleanor arrives in the city of Melbourne with the clothes on her back little money and a difficult past she’d rather not discuss. She takes up residence in a decrepit boarding house sarcastically dubbed “The Hotel California” by her new flatmate Roy, located on the volatile outskirts of the city where Eleanor comes across a series of fellow exiles fugitives and outcasts.

However, Eleanor finds her time in the area filled with troubles. Sometimes things go well, the next day they go bad. She needs to learn to adapt to her new life and decide whether it is worth remaining in the area.

The concept is clever even if it doesn’t become as deep as it could have been. We get strong performances from the cast who get to shine through the movie.
