The over 4500 ft2 Beach Walk House on Fire Island, New York was designed by SPG architects. The residence is composed of three intersecting rectilinear volumes and is simply coded to create a dynamic composition. The middle floating volume is wrapped in shiplapped timber and houses the 5 bedrooms. The dominant volume, located on the top floor is finished in anodized metal and features the kitchen with access to a viewing deck.
