The underside of the roof and certain parts of the exterior are clad with tropical balau hardwood. Horizontality is reinforced at every scale: from the wooden planks and impressions left by the concrete formwork to the door handles and benches, whose proportion seem to mimic the thin concrete columns supporting the home.
