Hounds at Heavenly

By Ciciwriter @suemagic

Powder…cold, wet, white and fun to make snowballs and snowpeople with as well as to ski on. Our furry friends with four paws like snow as much as people do. And Lake Tahoe (north and south) is a perfect place to hit the snow trails and resorts. Lazy, couch potato puppies can sit by the fire while active animals can hike in the fluffy white stuff during the winter.

The mountains are alive with the sound of dogs frolicking in the snow. Taking your dog skiing might require some patience, practice and coordination. (Me, the only time I ever went skiing in my life, I failed at the bunny slopes in NY but there are plenty of people who ski and who knows, maybe Fido is a natural born skier).
