HOT Package, A Hostile Operations Team Christmas Novella by Lynn Raye Harris
This novella is part of the Hot, Sexy & Bad ( A Holiday Novella Collection) Box Set.
This third installment in the H.O.T. series introduces us to Olivia Reese Billy "The Kid" Blake. Olivia has discovered a conspiracy right before Christmas. The only person she could trust with this sensitive information would be Billy Blake. Olivia must be really desperate to approach Billy after the way things ended between them. Olivia knows that if she doesn't do something the men protecting our country could be in danger.
Billy is still really mad at Olivia. She didn't wait for him to come home from one of his missions. They had argued about the H.O.T. unit and his priorities. Olivia was terrified something would happen to him and she wanted a more normal life. She had made the mistake of giving him an impossible ultimatum.
Now, here she was at his door begging for his help. Will Olivia and Billy be able to work out their differences or will this conspiracy they uncovered lead them into more danger than they bargained for?
This is a super charged, super hot, military hero, romantic suspence novella. Billy is just awesome! Olivia is someone we can relate to. I don't have a relative in the military, but if I did I think that at least once or twice this type of argument would come up. Being in a top secret organization like HOT would require devotion and dedication. It would come between the two people in the relationship and at some point the feeling of being second choice would have to enter your mind. Olivia's fear for Billy's safety is also understandable.
This series is really great and I understand that the next book will focus on Kev and I can not wait for that one!
This is an A+
