According to a report by India Today.in, a film producer named Ajay Kumar Singh filed a case against Ameesha Patel and her partner, accusing them of fraud, intimidation, and check bounce. The complainant claimed that Ameesha and her business partner accepted Rs 2.5 crores from him for the production and promotion of a film titled “Desi Magic.” However, despite promising to return the money with interest upon the completion of the film, they failed to release it.
Ameesha Patel has been booked under sections 420 and 120 of the CrPC after repeatedly failing to appear before the court despite receiving multiple summons.
Meanwhile, in terms of her professional endeavors, Ameesha Patel is gearing up for her comeback on the silver screen with “Gadar 2: The Katha Continues.” The highly anticipated romantic period drama, directed by Anil Sharma, is set to release on August 11, 2023.
