HOSAKU: Yakiniku, Hotpot & International Buffet, SM North Towers is Finally Opening

In March 2020, FoodieViewsPH and I tried a restaurant called HOSAKU, Fredley Group of Companies new brand. Side note: Fredley Group of Companies other brands include Macao Imperial Tea, Mitasu Charcoal Yakiniku, Nabe Japanese Izakaya and Hotpot, and Liáng Crispy Rolls. Moving on, HOSAKU offers a spacious and bright place perfect for everyone and all occasions.

HOSAKU, a Japanese word which means bountiful harvest.

The yakiniku, hotpot and international buffet restaurant can accommodate up to 200 people. With that number, diners won't be disappointed with the number of selections HOSAKU has to offer. As mentioned, they have yakiniku, hotpot and buffet. Each type of dining experience comes with a great selection of meats and vegetables. Take Hosaku's conveyor belt, for instance. This lovely system serves an endless supply of various ingredients such as dumplings, meats, mixed balls, mushrooms, noodles, and vegetables for your hotpot or grill!

HOSAKU is located at Level 1 SM North Towers and, set to open its doors to everyone in March 2020. Sadly, the pandemic hit and the entire world placed under quarantine.

Life indeed changed. And it is now time to face and embrace the new normal. With that, HOSAKU is ready to open their doors this Valentine's Day armed with all the necessary measures to keep both their customers and employees safe.

Since the branch is inside SM North EDSA, visitors must follow the mall's safety guidelines.

"Safety and cleanliness are keys within the malls. All entering must wear face masks, disinfect at the entrances, and temperature checks are strictly done. Social distancing is practised by both staff and customers especially in supermarkets, drugstores and banks."

And before entering HOSAKU, each diner must fill out their contact tracing form. HOSAKU has two options: via QR code and paper form. After completing the form, you may now enter the restaurant.

A little note, they have a no mask, no entry policy, thermal scanning, and contactless transaction. Social distancing is a must and to ensure everyone's safety, HOSAKU has frequent store sanitation.

Take note, HOSAKU's conveyor belt I mentioned earlier is off for the meantime. But once it's safe, they will hit start right away. Honestly, I miss that part of the experience. But we have to understand the current situation. Anyway, HOSAKU still offers quite a selection from their yakiniku, hotpot and buffet.

Are you excited to try them out? Here's a piece of great news!

Make sure to follow HOSAKU on Facebook and Instagram so that you won't miss any great news from Fredley Group of Companies new brand.

Happy eating!
