Honor X9 was announced in Malaysia as the new budget 5G smartphone. The smartphone comes with Qualcomm’s octa-core 5G chipset, fast refresh rate punch-hole display, big battery, triple rear camera, fast charging, fingerprint sensor, and more. It arrived as the rebadged version of Honor X30 which was unveiled back in December last year.

Honor X9 flaunts a 6.81 inches IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2388 pixels ) resolution, 16.7 million colors, 19.9:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz fast refresh rate. In terms of camera, the smartphone features a triple rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. For selfies, the phone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is packed with a 4800mah battery and supports 66W fast charging. In terms of Dimensions, It measures 166.07 x 75.78 x 8.05mm and weighs 189 grams.
It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a MicroSD card slot. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and a USB-C port. The device is running on Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 skin on top. Sensors onboard, the smartphone includes a Gravity Sensor, Compass, Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Honor X9 pricing and Availability haven’t been revealed by the company yet but it is listed on the company’s Malaysian Website. The phone comes in three color options namely Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Ocean Blue.
