Honor X30i was unveiled along with Honor X30 Max in the hometown ” China “. It is a toned-down version of X30 Max with a comparably smaller screen size, less battery, lower performance chipset, low camera resolution primary sensor, and hence it comes with a lower price tag.

Honor X30i features a 6.7 inches LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 2388×1080 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and due to extremely thin bezels, the device has a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is running on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 on the top.
The smartphone is packed with a 4000mah battery and supports 22.5W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone is 7.45mm thick which can be achieved by the use of a multi-layer polyurethane composite ultra-thin screen and a low-dielectric ultra-thin PCB circuit board and weighs 175 grams.
Honor X30i Price and Availability
Honor X30i comes in two configurations:-
- 6GB + 128GB priced at 1,399 yuan ( Rs. 16,400 approx )
- 8GB + 128GB priced at 1,699 yuan ( Rs. 19,900 approx )
- 8GB + 256GB priced at 1,899 yuan ( Rs. 22,200 approx )
The phone comes in four color options namely Titanium Air Silver, Rose Gold, Charm Sea Blue, and Magic Night Black. The smartphone is currently available for pre-order and will go for sale from November 5 in China and the company hasn’t revealed any plans for availability outside the hometown.
