Hong Kong Tramways, November 2012
Japanese forces occupied Hong Kong in 1941. Very limited tram service was provided during this period but in 1945, after three years and eight months of Japanese Occupation; all 109 tramcars remained in-tact and 40 tramcars were immediately back in service.
