Whilst browsing around my local garden center (I say garden center but it seems to stock just about everything and anything) I stumbled upon these little bottles. It’s an Apple, Brandy & Orange liqueur that is produced locally to where I live. Perfect for a cocktail creation I thought.
Honeymoon
60ml Slightly Foxed Apple, Brandy & Orange (traditionally a Honeymoon is made with Calvados put I’m using this instead)
15ml Benedictine
15ml triple sec
15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
lemon peel to garnish
Put all the ingredients in a shaker, add ice. Shake. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with lemon peel.
Mmm, this is lovely a great mixture of sweet and sour, it gets a big tick from me!
