Part 1: King’s Pass → Forgotten Crossroads

Hollow Knight 100% Completion Guide – Full Walkthrough

King’s Pass

Geo mining: Smash every rock cluster for nailsmith upgrades later.
Fury of the Fallen charm: In the pit room’s southwest corner, nail‑bounce over spikes, open the chest, then drop into Dirtmouth.
Meet Elderbug: Chat at the bench, then drop into the Forgotten Crossroads via the well.

Forgotten Crossroads

Early Geo & map: Defeat basic foes, buy the map from Cornifer (30 Geo), then open the stag station (50 Geo).
Rescue Grubs: Free caterpillar‑like Grubs behind breakable walls; each visit to the Grubfather nets rewards.
First bosses:
- Gruz Mother: Dodge her zig‑zag slam by moving with her, then clear the swarm.
- False Knight: Jump shockwaves, stagger the maggot, and land the finishing blows.
New abilities:
- Vengeful Spirit: From the Ancestral Mound snail shaman.
- Soul Catcher charm: After tackling Elder Baldur.
Bench stops & shops: Return to Dirtmouth for the Wayward Compass, Quill, and Bench Pin (440 Geo total).

Part 2: Greenpath → Fungal Wastes → City of Tears

Greenpath

Journal unlocked: Pick up Hunter’s Journal and map (60 Geo).
Bench & breaks: Rescue Grubs, sit to heal, and smash hidden walls for relics.
Mini‑bosses:
- Moss Knight and Vengefly King: Nail‑bounce to deal extra damage.
- Hornet Protector: Dodge her lunges, strike on recovery for the Mothwing Cloak.

Fungal Wastes & Queen’s Station

Ride down Fog Canyon into Fungal Wastes, open Queen’s Station (120 Geo), and save Zote or skip for a later achievement.
Smash supports, grab the Hallownest Seal, and pick up Isma’s Tear ability deep below.

City of Tears

Upgrades: Bench chat with Quirrel, then sharpen your nail (250 Geo + Pale Ore).
Relic trades: Sell Hallownest Seals to Lemm for quick Geo.
New shortcuts: Use your City Crest to open the City of Tears gate and unlock the storerooms station (200 Geo).

Part 3: Deeper Crossroads → Crystal Peak → Resting Grounds

Back to Crossroads

With new charms, revisit secret rooms: buy the Gathering Swarm (300 Geo) and mask shards.
Face Brooding Mawlek in a dark cavern—dodge its poison blobs and strike after its single‑fire attack.

Crystal Peak

Pay 50 Geo to light the way, nab the map (112 Geo), and defeat the Crystal Guardian for the first mask shard.
Gather the Shopkeeper’s Key for later.

Resting Grounds

Dream Nail: Inspect the memorial to unlock it, then hit Whispering Roots for Essence.
Open the stag station and fast‑travel when you need a break.

Part 4: Royal Waterways → Hive → Kingdom’s Edge

Royal Waterways

Smash walls for Tuk’s shop, buy Rancid Eggs (80–100 Geo), and tackle the Dung Defender for the Defender’s Crest charm.
Ride the elevator down for Isma’s Tear and the Sentry battle room’s bench.

Hive & Kingdom’s Edge

In the Hive, free Grubs, hit roots for Essence, and take down Hive Knight for the Hiveblood charm.
At Kingdom’s Edge, grab the map (112 Geo), learn the Dash Slash art, and complete the Colosseum of Fools challenges for relics and charm notches.

Part 5: Deepnest → Ancient Basin → Upgrades

Deepnest

Buy the map (38 Geo), sit at benches, and super‑dash past traps to rescue Grubs.
Defeat Nosk for Pale Ore, and ride the failed tram to cloth’s hideout.

Ancient Basin

Lower the waters to open paths: rescue Grubs, snag map (112 Geo), and defeat Broken Vessel for Monarch Wings.
Upgrade haul: Return to Sly for elegant keys, then channel your nail and unlock Shade Soul in Soul Sanctum.

Part 6: Endgame Prep → White Palace → Final Bosses

Resting Grounds & Beyond

Complete the Delicate Flower quest with Quirrel for achievements and extra charms.
Infected Crossroads: grab lifeblood upgrades, clear warrior’s graves for Essence, and face Failed Champion for 300 Essence.

White Palace & Grimm Troupe

Conquer White Palace to earn the Kingsoul charm (save this for a second playthrough if you want the normal ending).
Equip Grimmchild, gather flames via Dream Gate, then fight Grimm and Nightmare King for your Ritual achievement.

Final Push

Fast‑travel to Soul Sanctum, defeat Pantheons in Godhome, then return to face the Black Egg Temple’s final boss for your 100% completion.
