Holiday Gift Ideas: Easy & Inexpensive DIY Vases

With the holidays right around the corner we all are looking for the perfect gift for our friends and family and if you read my blog you'll know that I prefer handmade gift items than ones you have to buy so I decided to round up a few easy and inexpensive vases that you can make for the holiday. These vases can be used for flowers to makeup brush holders. You can use marbles, shells, rice, coffee beans, glitter, fake snow, aquarium gravel, small pebbles, colored sand or Epsom salts as fillers.
 DIY Gold Striped Vases: This is such a simple project all you really need is washi tape gold metallic spray paint to create this goldlicious vase that will make the perfect gift for mom. (via Two Twenty One)

Lace Vases: Spray paint jars and let them dry. then cut strips of lace to fit around the jars and glue them down with Mod Podge, finish with a top coat to seal it.(Via Mod Podge Rocks)
