One of my favorite things about the holidays is incorporating holiday brights into my everyday wardrobe. Textures, prints, layers and bright holiday pops of color from Old Navy are key to your seasonal wardrobe. I have had so much fun the last few weeks getting dressed. I know that sounds like a really weird statement but as someone who loves to live in work out clothes; there is something so enjoyable about getting dressed and feeling festive during the holidays.
For the holiday month of December, my go-to look always seems to include a printed shirt (or sweater), a classic jacket (like this one from Old Navy) and a fun holiday bright scarf (and matching gloves if it’s cold enough). I love being able to mix up my everyday uniform and incorporate key holiday brights and statement pieces from Old Navy.
One of the best tips that I can give you when you are mixing and layering holiday brights and prints is always incorporate a solid piece into the look (like this classic black coat from Old Navy) and select items that have one hue that is the same. Since I wanted to wear this Old Navy buffalo check shirt and this nordic print scarf from Old Navy, I decided to ‘ground’ the look with the classic black coat and then layer the accessories over the coat. In my opinion by making sure to include a classic piece like this black coat from Old Navy, it allows you to get as crazy as you want with your shirt/sweater/accessories.
Old Navy always has the best selection when it comes to holiday brights because everything they have in store and online is so fun and festive!
