Hold on Just a Minute!

Everyone is excited about the announcement of the approval and release of the "pinched finger" emoji. While it is technically Italian, we Israelis consider it one of our own as well....
My question is when will I get it on my Android phone? I have yet to see it appear in my emoji list on my keyboard app and on the various texting apps.. Anybody know when it will be widely distributed? I could not find any info in the various articles I read about this release.
