If you’re craving something a little slower, quieter… and honestly quite soul-resetting, this one’s for you...

Hiroshi Sugimoto: Form is Emptiness is the first major solo exhibition in Southeast Asia dedicated to the iconic Japanese artist, and it’s not your typical walk-through gallery experience.

The exhibition is inspired by the Buddhist cosmological concept of the Five Elements - Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void, and unfolds in a loop, almost like you’re stepping into a quiet cycle of life itself. This elemental framework reflects Sugimoto’s enduring inquiry into time, perception, and the structure of reality It’s less about rushing through artworks, and more about… feeling the artworks.

Across more than 60 works spanning five decades, you’ll see Sugimoto’s signature seascapes, striking architectural photography, and immersive installations. Everything feels minimal, almost still; but at the same time, deeply thought-provoking.

Form is Emptiness gently forces you to slow down. To notice. To reflect and how, through Sugimoto’s lens, the material world becomes a mirror for the mind.

This isn’t just an art exhibition—it’s a pause button in the middle of your busy life, that's perfect for quiet solo dates, artsy couple days, or when you just need a mental reset. Keep the dates marked and below are more details...
