Harvey Weinstein was a longtime Democratic party donor and fundraiser. He gave and raised money for Democratic congressmen, senators and presidential candidates for decades. It seemed pretty obvious that Republicans would try to politicize Harvey Weinstein’s sexual abuses as some kind “proof” that, like, Democrats don’t care about women or something? The problem is that this week is the one year anniversary of the Donald Trump Access Hollywood tape being released, aka Grab ‘Em By The P-ssy-gate. Our sitting president is an admitted sexual assailant who, like Harvey Weinstein, has been accused of sexual assault by more than a dozen women. My point? Any Trump-supporting Republican or Deplorable trying to score political points off of the Harvey Weinstein story needs to sit the f–k down. Harvey DONATED to Democrats, and those Dems are giving his contributions away and condemning him unequivocally. Republicans elected an admitted sexual assailant to the highest office of the land. Do you see the f–king difference?
Anyway, the media and the Deplorables were obsessed with getting President Obama and Hillary Clinton to issue statements about Harvey. Again, take a f–king seat. Obama isn’t president anymore. Hillary isn’t president. NO ONE NEEDS TO SAY ANYTHING. Of course Hillary got it worse, because every single person has been twisting themselves in knots to find guilt and culpability with women for Harvey’s many crimes. It can never just be a case of “wow, that guy is a pervert and a rapist.” No, apparently we have to blame women for everything. Here’s Hillary Clinton’s statement, which she released Tuesday afternoon:
“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”

Meanwhile, the Obamas were so out of loop on Hollywood gossip that they actually allowed their daughter, Malia, to intern for The Weinstein Company during her gap year. Barack Obama didn’t make reference to that in his statement. This is what he said:
“Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein. Any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status. We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories. And we all need to build a culture — including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect — so we can make such behavior less prevalent in the future.”
[From People]
I’m so glad both of our current presidents weighed in on this. Oh, wait, you mean they’re both currently private citizens and this f-cking “countdown” to when they would say anything was absurd? Oh right.
Here’s a tweet from Kellyanne Conway, adviser to the current Sexual Assailant in Chief.
It took Hillary abt 5 minutes to blame NRA for madman's rampage, but 5 days to sorta-kinda blame Harvey Weinstein 4 his sexually assaults.
