On the weekend we decided to go try out a new hiking trail. Kloofendal Nature Reserve is a wonderful reserve filled with hiking trails for any level of fitness. The best part about it, is that its completely free and a great place for an after hike picnic or BBQ. We did the rocky ridge trail that was completely true to its name. It was covered in beautiful rocks that just kept getting better. It was a really hot, but beautiful day that was filled with giggles the entire day.
The Nature reserve also has a planet walk and a bird hide. This is a must see reserve.
The best way to end a weekend is with a snow cone.
