In this two 3mm steel parts laser seam welding test, a 4.5mm penetration has been achieved by using 4kw fiber laser and D50 optical fiber. The welding speed is 20mm/sec.
A processing time lower than other welding technologies has been achieved, minimizing the heat condition and obtaining a significant welding section (>0,65mm.) that directly impact on high process stability, high resistance to cutting and tensile straight, increasing the welded assembly durability.
