Hero Xpulse 400 is really coming in the market then. The company is still continuing the development of this adventure motorcycle with a big engine. According to reports, the launch was supposed to take place in 2020 but has been pushed back indefinitely. But finally Hero Xpulse 400 is going to appear with new chassis and advanced features.
As claimed by Car & Bike, this bike will be powered by a 421 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. The project to build the new Expuls is called ACDA and is nearing completion. The design will be slightly different from the current Xpulse 200.
The Hero Xpulse 400 will come with a larger fuel tank. The LED headlamp will be round. The instrument cluster will feature a full-color TFT screen, a first in the history of the Expulse series. The prototype model had engine overheating problems. But now Hero is running new testing after solving it.
The bike's 421 cc engine is expected to produce a maximum power of 40 horsepower and 35 Nm of torque. As a result Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure will face fierce competition. The Hero Xpulse 400 price in the Indian market may start from Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
