Hero Vida is the electric branch or sub brand of Hero MotoCorp in the domestic market. The company currently sells electric scooters under this brand. This time, Hero Motocorp is going to bring Vida electric bike one step ahead. The design of the bike has been leaked before the launch. This is a strategic move by the company to increase its presence in the EV two-wheeler market. It is said to be an off-road electric bike.

Ahead of any official announcement, a design patent for an electric dirt bike has surfaced online. Which is quite similar to the electric ADV motorcycle showcased by the brand at EICMA 2023. At that time, the brand named these bikes as Lynx and Acro. Among them, the Lynx concept was an electric dirt bike for adults. Whereas the Acro concept is an electric linear dirt bike for youngsters.
Some glimpses of the design patent point to it being an electric bike aimed at youngsters. For example, it seems to be missing the traditional braking setup at the front end. Note that the Lynx had traditional disc brakes at the front end, but the Acro did not.
The bike is expected to be very small in size. It may have a higher handlebar, center-set footpegs, and a longer flat seat. This model is going to be equipped with a sharp and sleek design, which carries the identity of a dirt bike. The bike is said to have telescopic front suspension and monoshock rear suspension. Also, the bike can have fat tires designed for off-road adventures.
The bike is likely to have a removable battery. It will also have an electric motor, which will use a belt-drive system to power the rear wheels. Hero MotoCorp may hint at more specifications regarding the bike in the coming days.
