Summer is slowly returning and what better way to enjoy the weather than by watching a movie outdoors. The always entertaining Millennium Park Summer Film Series is back with an awesome lineup that’s sure to have something for everyone.
Beginning June 13, the summer series kicks off with a very special Chicago film, The Blues Brothers. This 1980s classic tells the story of a band coming back together to help take care of an orphanage that has a very special place in their hearts.
Every week at 6:30pm, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion will be open free of charge to share iconic films. Everything from Caddyshack, a golf comedy classic, to newer critically acclaimed films such as La La Land and Hidden Figures, the story of three brilliant African American women working with NASA, will be on display for your viewing pleasure.
For the first time, the Millennium Park Summer Film Series will also feature a Spanish language film and a daytime film for families, Disney’s first animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Millennium Park is a must-go attraction in the city of Chicago, with a state-of-the-art 40-foot LED screen that makes it perfect for viewing amazing films. Gather your family, your date, or just a couple friends to enjoy summer nights at Millennium Park.
