Design your wedding invitations like ticket stubs
Instead of traditional wedding invitations, send out invitations that have been designed like tickets. Your invitations are meant to give your guests a first peek into the theme of your wedding – sending out themed invites is the perfect way to do this.
If you want to get an idea of some cool ticket-themed wedding invitations, have a look online. If you visit sites like Pinterest, you should be able to find some examples that you could model your own invites on.
Hire a limo
For your wedding vehicles, add a touch of Hollywood elegance by hiring a wedding limo for you and your partner to travel in. You could also invite guests hire limos as well if they want to travel in true Hollywood style.
For an extra touch of opulence, perhaps you could hire a limo that has champagne on tap? It is your wedding day after all; you may as well splash out.
Use tickets to show people where to sit
Have a cocktail bar
At a Hollywood themed wedding, having a cocktail bar is a must. Instead of having normal names for your cocktails, perhaps you could ask the cocktail maker to rename them after famous actors?
In the cocktail area, have a screen with images of all of Hollywood’s greatest couples. To make this more elegant, opt to have all the photos in black and white, rather than in color.
You could use vintage theater and movie themed items as decorations. For instance, you could use movie lighting, directors chairs, black chalkboards, and anything else that you can think of.
If you can get your hands on black and white prints of iconic movie stars, you could display them around the room. Or, you could put them in frames and place one on each table.
Give popcorn as favors
For wedding favors, give each guest a vintage style box filled with gourmet popcorn. This could include popcorn of all flavors, as well as traditional movie theater-style popcorn. For a wedding favor, gourmet flavored popcorn is the ideal gift.
Planning a Hollywood themed wedding doesn’t have to be tricky, all you need to do is get creative.
