Verdict on Here for Blood

Here for Blood is an action horror comedy following a wrestler that takes a babysitting job for his girlfriend. However, it turns into a battle for survival when they come up against a cult. Although the cult isn’t prepared for what they are coming up against.

This is a movie that takes the stalked babysitter idea to new levels. We have seen countless new ideas over recent years including Netflix’s own The Babysitter. The idea of a babysitter needing to protect a child against a cult is easy for horror. However, this takes things in a new direction, with the babysitter being the biggest physical presence in the movie.

By turning things on their heads, we get a lot more laughs, with most coming from Shawn Roberts’ Tom. A lot comes from the out-of-place babysitter position he finds himself in. Nearly all the fights are shot to feel like over-the-top wrestling matches, with each one offering something new. This is a blood-soaked horror filled with comedy and just doesn’t hold back on anything.

Final Thoughts Here for Blood is a laugh-out-loud horror comedy with a relentless nature.
