Liverpool duo Her’s have returned with ‘Love on the Line (Call Now)’. Opening like an electro-tinged soft-rock version of ‘Oliver’s Army’, there’s a playful sense of humor as the synths take over and the band sing about how ‘hers is a love that I cannot afford’. As it veers into a more jangly rhythm, the band repeat the words ‘I’ll be waiting on the end of the line. All I want is for you to be mine’ and you can’t help but fall for their pining.
