There’s something about the way a Chanel perfume is wrapped at Christmas time that makes me never want to open it. Yet, laying inside the beautiful thick wrapping paper is the most perfect of scents I’ve ever come across. It’s classic and timeless; so classic I feel that I only deserve a spritz on rare fancy occasions. I am lucky to get this perfume every Christmas from my family and I don’t think I will ever tire of it. I once said I liked Charlie Red perfume –I was about 14- and oh what a huge mistake that was; I continued to receive said perfume until I was 20 years old –so literally Christmas 2010. I eventually had to painfully explain to my lovely family that I had in fact simply grown out of the scent that is, the infamous Charlie Red. Coco Mademoiselle however, is not one of these scents, and I doubt that any Chanel perfume is. Chanel scents are for real women and can not be appreciated by the less mature of girls, it takes years of perfume experience to finally appreciate Chanel for what it is: perfection.
