MIVI Octave 2 wireless speaker: a speaker for all your needs

The box came with a helmet and goggles. Hehehe Design, characteristics and construction of the enclosure
The speaker is compact and has a nice grip on their surface. The button layout matches the speaker color and blends into the overall design of the unit. Therefore, from a distance, MIVI Octave 2 appears almost planar.
The advantage of not having a thousand lights on my speaker is that I can keep it near the overbed table while I sleep without any issues.

Some of the cool features There are four buttons in total on the wireless speaker:
- A power button
- A triangle button (MFB)
- Volume increase (+)
- Lower the volume (-)
By pressing all these buttons differently, you can access several functions of the MIVI Octave 2 wireless speaker. For example, if you want to answer an incoming call when the speaker is connected to your phone via bluetooth, just press on the Triangle button (MFB).
If you want to redial the last number, you will have to press the same twice, and if you want to ignore the call, just press the button for 1 second. Oh, and the same button can also be used to pause and play music.
Likewise, the Volume "+" and "-" buttons are used to increase or decrease the sound and skip tracks.

Additionally, to connect your MIVI Octave 2 wireless speaker to your phone, press and hold the power button for three seconds, and it will appear in the "available devices" section.
The real list of features begins with a USB-C charging port, a micro SD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. First of all, the USB-C charging port works like a charm. In terms of battery usage, the MIVI Octave 2 wireless speaker lasted me two days with moderate use. I use the speaker in the morning when I wake up and during my workout at night. The MIVI Octave 2 wireless speaker can easily last over 6 hours of continuous song playback, and it fully charges in an hour.
I also ended up using MIVI Octave 2 as an external speaker for my PS4. I used the 3.5mm USB jack to plug the speaker into my monitor and used a USB-C to USB Type-A cable to connect the speaker to my PS4 to keep it charged.
The way it worked just made me smile. I played for about 4 hours and the speaker worked perfectly. Speaking of perfectly fine, here's how the speaker fares in terms of sound quality.
MIVI Octave 2 wireless speaker sound quality review

The speaker is not too loud, but it is loud enough. The maximum speaker volume leads directly to this point beyond which the sound quality would have started to deteriorate. So kudos to MIVI for handling this. In terms of bass, I have to be honest; the speaker will not cause earthquake. Which is a relief because none of us would want our homes destroyed.
But he has this "oompf". Let me give you an example, I was playing this sequence in God of War on my PS4 with the speaker connected. And the surface of my table shook. The bass is more than I expected from a speaker of this size. And I would like to say that he definitely hits above his weight. It's still not as good as a surround sound system, but it will give you the same feel minus the volume.

The volume cap also contributes to the clarity of the sound. I can hear song lyrics as clearly as I would with my headphones, even though the speaker is in the room next to me. Overall the sound quality and bass are exactly as promised.
MIVI Octave 2 review: what I would like to see in the future and conclusion
What I would like to see in the next MIVI Octave 3 wireless speaker would be a longer charging cable. The one I received in my box is as long as my forearm, and the distance between the power outlets and the next table, at least at home, is relatively long.
The speaker doesn't come with a wall adapter, but I suggest keeping it that way as long as it helps keep the prices down. I really recommend MIVI Octave 2 if you are looking to buy a wireless speaker in the market.
