Heat

Summer heat. It comes with many, oh so many advantages. Bare legs, reasons to buy new, mid riff baring mini dresses and I’m sure you and I can name about 250 others. One that would even dare to name just one disadvantage of the summer heat going on right now will be looked down upon, but I’m going to do it anyway. The things is, I have loads of hair. Dark hair. And I still have a trauma from cutting off 20 cm of that hair 3 years ago, so my locks will stay intact. But it is soooo hoooot! Which is why I’ve made an appointment at my favorite hairdresser tomorrow, but I still have no idea of what to do with my semi-grown out bangs and hairy shoulder blanket. Any suggestions?
The other thing: I always tend to have obsessions that do not go well with the weather at the time of obsession. I don’t have to tell you that sneakers and socks are not ideal in 28 degrees. However, I am stubborn an persistent and love my new Nike Janoski’s just as much as I will wear them with socks, even in this weather. Socks in sneakers just make me feel more dressed as well, especially with short shorts and mini dresses – baring less is more.
And I surely prefer warm feet over the ‘I’m dressed like I’m on vacation at some European camping and don’t care + flipflops’-look. No offense, but I think a lot of us can do better.
