Plot: While serenading a wedding that quickly implodes, o nomadic musician falls for the bride, who runs afoul of her family. Now he has to save her life.

Story: Heartsong starts as Sumbul (Erguclu) is about to get married but her love for music is holding this back. She meets Piroz (Kostendil) as their heartstring cross. After Sumbul’s groom rejects her, her family lock her away in shame.
After Piroz looks to win Sumbul’s heart, the family rejects his proposal, leading to his family coming up with a plan to help her escape.
Verdict on Heartsong
Heartsong is a romantic comedy that sees two people that will do anything for love. This means going against the family’s wishes and dealing with the disgrace they feel towards their daughter.
It is an oddball comedy that puts plenty into the traditions that have held back love before. This leaves not very much to work on, as we see the wacky journey the characters go on. Everything in the film feels like it wants to give everything to the heart it deserves but falls flat on making a bigger impact on the message.
