Heart Shaped Banana Oats Pancakes

Valentine’s day is just around the corner and we have something you can make with love for not just the kids but the entire family! These heart shaped banana oats pancakes are the perfect way to start the day  of love. Made with just 4 ingredients these pancakes are egg-less and sugar free, but without compromising on taste. With basic ingredients and a heart shaped cookie cutter, you’re all set for a cute and healthy Valentine breakfast.

Heart Shaped Banana Oats Pancakes

This Valentine's Day, give your toddler a healthy and cute breakfast with these heart shaped banana oats pancakes!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 large overripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon ghee / Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup milk

Ingredients needed to make banana oats pancakes

Method:

1.Using a grinder , pulse the oats 2-3 times to get oat meal (powdered oats).

Add oats to the grinder jar

Get oatmeal after grinding

2. Add ripe banana chunks and milk to the grinder jar with oatmeal.

3. Pulse 2-3 times to get a lump free batter.

4. Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee or olive oil in a pan. Using a small ladle , pour the pancake batter in the center of the pan. Allow it to spread on its own and do not spread it much.

5. Cover and cook the pancake on low to medium flame for a minute or so then, flip the pancake.

6. Cook on both the sides until it turns golden brown.

7. Repeat the same with the remaining batter. Then using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out small heart shaped pancakes.

8. Serve the heart shaped oats banana pancakes on their own or with strawberry banana puree or honey .

Heart shaped cookie cutters turn plain banana oatmeal pancakes to make them appealing and perfect treats for this Valentine’s Day. The pancakes taste great on their own, but they can be served with honey, maple syrup or any fruit puree. Valentine tip – cut up some fruit with the heart cookie cutter and serve with the pancakes – kids will end up enjoying their fruit without even realizing it!
