Verdict on Heart of an Oak
Heart of an Oak is a nature documentary following the different creatures living in and around one area. It follows their lives as they deal with threats and elude capture.
This is a difficult movie to describe, as it is just the footage of the animals with music placed over events, no narration. The inner nature lover in me is waiting for David Attenborough to start telling me a story about their lives. This is beautifully shot and shows a peace and harmony the animals in live. However, it doesn’t do too much more after that. I guess the meaning behind it all, would be nature is something you shouldn’t mess with and leave it alone is best.
