This March, Sony Legacy will be releasing MILES AT THE FILLMORE – Miles Davis 1970: The Bootleg Series Vol. 3, which will finally have Miles’ legendary 1970 concerts from the Fillmore East released in their entirety.  The original groundbreaking concerts saw a heavily edited LP release in the 1970′s, but this is the first time that we will be able to hear the Bitches Brew-era concerts as they were originally performed.  The group is an unbelievable one:  Chick Corea and Keith Jarrett on the keys, Dave Holland on bass, Steve Grossman (who replaced the recently departed Wayne Shorter) on saxophone, drummer Jack DeJohnette and percussionist Airto Moreira.  Miles famously said that he wanted every second of music from these performances released and now we get to see that wish fulfilled.

You can now listen to the fantastic encore performance of “Spanish Key” from the upcoming release, courtesy of Sony Legacy, here.  Amazing!!
