well, it is sort of official.
The law proposal to dissolve the Knesset passed a short while ago by a vote of 61-54.
This was just the first reading of the law, so they can still avoid elections by coming to an agreement on passage of the budget (and maybe some other issues) before the proposal comes to its final readings. But chances are even higher now that we are headed to elections.
I am not a betting man, but this is pretty intriguing trying to guess what is going to happen next!
