Verdict on Head Count
Head Count is a thriller following a prisoner who escape during a freak incident and looks to start a fresh life. However, he gets captured and must remember how many bullets are left in his gun.
This thriller looks to so how chaotic a prison escape creates and how easily the past could come back to haunt them. It has moments of comedy, as things spiral out of control leading to the series of events we follow. However, it lacks the spark needed to give us everything the concept presents. It is a hard move to get behind the main character as he doesn’t seem to do enough to make it feel like a bit of a revenge series of encounters it just seems like chance.
