Hazrat Umar (R.A)

Caliph Umar was the second leader of the Muslim faith. He was one of the Holy Prophet's (P.B.U.H.) most devoted followers. In Islam, he holds the highest level of respect. Here is a quick summary of his life before he converted to Islam:

Early life:

Little is known about his early life, other than the fact that he was supposedly a sworn adversary of Islam and was born in Makkah to the Adi family of the Quraish tribe. He was the most fearsome and powerful man in his time, and he never hesitated to harm the Muslim.
