Piacere is Tokyo’s signature Italian restaurant at lunchtimes and in the evenings but in the morning it serves a fine boutique breakfast. This breakfast on the 28th floor of the Shangri-La hotel is available to guests and visitors alike.
The buffet selection is impressive with items ranging from intricate pastries to asparagus soup. There is also an a la carte menu serving dishes such as Lobster Eggs Benedict, Tuscan styled poached eggs and traditional Japanese breakfast. We just opted for the buffet selection which was more than enough.
All food at Piacere is locally sourced and is based on the concept of ‘farm fresh’.
The interior of Piacete is modern and slick and combines traditional seating with private booths – perfect for business.
