Haryana News: IAS Rani Nagar of Haryana 2014 batch has resigned. The news came from Chandigarh on Monday morning. Rani Nagar is originally from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. She announced during the lockdown that she would resign. Then former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati took a tweet one after the other, taking the announcement of Rani Nagar’s resignation seriously.
Rani Nagar had alleged that high officials are harassing her and her and sister’s life is in danger. Mayawati had demanded the Haryana government to take cognizance of this matter and take action against the accused officials. After one tweet by Mayawati, the Haryana Government has come into action.
After this, there was news that Rani Nagar is being contacted on behalf of the Chief Secretary’s office and information about the whole matter is being obtained. Rani Nagar, a resident of Ghaziabad, had announced her resignation after lockdown via her Facebook post at around 5 am on Thursday.
Rani Nagar also released a video on his Facebook page, in which he has called his sister Reema Nagar and herself a threat to her life. It was told that since December 2019, sister is staying on rent in room number 311 of UT Guest House, Sector-6, Chandigarh.

Rani Nagar also revealed a case number in the video stating the lives of the two sisters as a threat. It has appealed to the people that if any incident happens to them or they disappear somewhere, then it should be traced through their case number.

I want to inform all of you, Rani Nagar daughter Ratan Singh Nagar resident Ghaziabad, village Badlapur tehsil Dadri district Gautam Budh Nagar, I have decided to resign from the post of IAS. Right now there is curfew in Chandigarh, so I and my sister Reema Nagar cannot get out of Chandigarh. Roads from Chandigarh to Ghaziabad are also closed. After the lockdown opens, she will return to her native city Ghaziabad with sister Reema Nagar after resigning from her office and taking permission from the government as per rules.
