In series two, former literature professor Harry Wild (Seymour) remains dedicated to one thing – solving crime – having adopted a rather unusual pastime in her retirement. Continuing to work alongside her trusty partner and sidekick, Fergus Reid (Rohan Nedd – Whitstable Pearl), this dynamic crime-busting duo has their work cut out for them.
Much to the annoyance of Harry’s son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan – Guilt), a busy detective in the Dublin Garda, Harry and Fergus throw themselves into their work, solving everything from missing persons to murders. However, when Fergus’ mother turns up out of the blue – years after abandoning her family – they have a deeply personal mystery to solve: What are her intentions and can Fergus trust her?
They must also solve the murder of Harry’s ex-lover, a woman who has gone missing from an Irish village steeped in dark history, the poisoning of a maid of honor during a bachelorette party, a crossbow-wielding killer, a murder mystery party turning deadly and the ominous demise of a boxing gym owner.
