Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by @jk_rowling

By Pamelascott

It is the middle of the summer, but there is an unseasonal mistpressing against the windowpanes. Harry Potter is waiting nervously in hisbedroom at the Dursleys' house in Privet Drive for a visit from ProfessorDumbledore himself. One of the last times he saw the Headmaster was in a fierceone-to-one duel with Lord Voldemort, and Harry can't quite believe that ProfessorDumbledore will actually appear at the Dursleys' of all places. Why is theProfessor coming to visit him now? What is it that cannot wait until Harryreturns to Hogwarts in a few weeks' time? Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts hasalready got off to an unusual start, as the worlds of Muggle and magic start tointertwine.

Oh myheart, my heart, it has been shredded into a thousand pieces. I cannot takemuch more of this. I'm glad I only have one book left to read because my littleheart couldn't take it. I'm also sad there's only one book left to read. TheHalf-Blood Prince is also one of my favourite Harry Potter novels. Someserious shit goes down in this book especially in the last few chapters whenanother beloved character is murdered and a terrible betrayal robs Harry of somuch. I was a red-eyed, sobbing wreck for the last 100 pages or so. My missesjust rolled her eyes and muttered about 'book stuff'. My absolutely favourite HarryPotter book is the last one, The Deathly Hollows. I cannot wait to turninto a red-eyed sobbing wreck again.
