Harry and Meghan had baby Archie christened Saturday in the Queen’s private chapel inside Windsor Castle.

The intimate ceremony was attended by Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Kate, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and the undisclosed godparents of baby Archie. The Queen was not in attendance due to a prior commitment.

Harry and Meghan chose the private chapel because they “wanted an intimate setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty,” says a royal source.

Following the ceremony, a Royal Spokesperson said, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to share the happiness of this day, and would like to thank everyone around the world for their ongoing support. They feel so fortunate to have enjoyed this special moment with family and Archie’s godparents.”

So, why don’t we know the name of the godparents? The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would like to keep that information private.

According to Buckingham Palace, “The godparents, in keeping with their wishes, will remain private.”
