On Thursday, November 28, from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Harbor Docks invites family, friends, locals and visitors to join them in celebrating a traditional, home-style Thanksgiving Day meal.

In an effort to help eliminate substandard local living conditions, Charles Morgan III, owner of Harbor Docks, has partnered with Okaloosa Habitat for Humanity and Destin Harvest to serve the feast. Morgan covers the entire cost of production while raising awareness of community needs, and raises funds for the two non-profit organizations. Morgan finds this time of year to be an occasion to show gratitude within the community and prepares this delicious feast with guests leaving relaxed and ready to enjoy the holiday.

AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar has graciously donated ham for the event while The Donut Hole will provide the dessert. There will be table service with plated food to avoid lines and a cash bar will also be offered. Okaloosa Habitat for Humanity and Destin Harvest contribute 200 volunteers to cover all positions needed in the restaurant. Harbor Docks employees will also be on-site to assist with this inspiring event.

Donations can be made to Okaloosa Habitat for Humanity or Destin Harvest as a “thank you” which helps to assist the non-profits with their work in the local community. Last year the annual Thanksgiving event fed more than 1,500 people and raised more than $20,000 with 100 percent of donations going directly to local needs.

If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please email [email protected] or [email protected].
