Happy Weekend

Hooray, it’s Friday! TGIF. I feel like I say that every week. I mean yes I do love the week days & getting things accomplished but it seems that whenever there is an exciting weekend in store the days just drag on and on. I am particularly excited for today/weekend because one of my best friends from college, her husband and their new baby are coming to Dallas for a little visit.

I am so excited to spend the weekend with them just catching up, hanging out around the house and playing with the new baby. We really don’t have any definite plans because I know hear you have to be pretty flex with a little one but like I said, I could not be more excited. I often refer to this bestie as my soap opera friend. No, she does not have any drama and is not crazy at all, she is just that friend that although we chat regularly, I don’t get to see but a few times a year and every time we get together we pick up right where we left off. It is like not a day has gone by. She’s just the best. Do you have any friends like that? I hope you all have a fun, safe & enjoyable weekend with whatever plans you may have. Happy Weekend!

p.s. I am hosting an event at Trina Turk in Highland Park Village next Thursday the 13th from 5-8PM. If you live in Dallas I hope you get a chance to stop by for a glass of champagne, see the new spring trends and of course say hello to moi!

Best Weekend Sales

  • Neiman Marcus: I know I mentioned this dress last week but you guys, the shape is so cute and it is only $88! Such a good buy. Love this yellow bow back dress and a couple of months ago I was SO close to buy this Rebecca Minkoff dress but honestly I thought it was a bit over priced. Now that it is on sale…well, game over because I am obsessed.
  • Nordstrom: This Rachel Zoe tank is a great basic & can be worn year round. Love this cardigan, this flare dress & this red Hobo clutch could also double as a wallet!
  • DVF: I love buying DVF dresses on sale. The silhouettes are classic and can be worn year after year. This strapless dress would be great for a cocktail party or a wedding. Really like this pink number for a casual afternoon & this tweed a-line dress would be perfect for a tea or luncheon!
  • Shopbop: Lately they have had some amazing sales. Like ridiculous. They still are marking down some great pieces that you don’t want to miss out on. Love this romper and these Tory Burch sandals would be so cute for the summer! I am always a sucker for a great Equipment blouse & this sleeveless number is adorable.
