Starting a new segment today, where we highlight some of the stars celebrating birthdays today, and their best work (in case you want to throw a party, and watch something with them in it).
Genesis Rodriguez (26)
I thought she was a waste of space/time in The Last Stand, and just so-so in Identity Thief. I did like her in Man On A Ledge which would be the film I would recommend today if you want to celebrate her birthday.
Allison Mack (31)
You definitely know she was in Smallville, and you might know she’s Wilfred, but before all that she was a camper in Camp Nowhere. Alert your inner nostalgia, and take a look.
Josh Radnor (39)
Most of his film work has been forgettable, so if you really want a Radnor fix, just Netflix some How I Met Your Mother episodes.
Stephen Dorff (40)
While it is tempting to recommend Alone In The Dark, Somewhere was a nice change of pace for him. Directed by Sofia Coppola, it was a rather good film that never gained any kind of awards traction. And it’s unlike most of the roles Dorff has had in his career (especially in the last few years).
Wil Wheaton (41)
Oh, I definitely recommend 1991′s Toy Soldiers which is a huge guilty pleasure for me. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s campy fun.
Mike Starr (53)
A character actor who has been in some really fantastic movies. The Black Dahlia, Summer Of Sam, Clockers, and Ed Wood.
