This is 100% alpaca, beautifully silky soft and with a slight sheen to it. Alpaca is warmer than wool, but is also quite light. Its just gorgeous luxurious stuff and as a spinner as well as a knitter myself, I have to say this is beautifully spun.

The yarn is dyed in lovely shades of indigo-type blue, with just a little bluey-green here and there.

It is about a 4-ply weight, and this hank of yarn is 50grammes in weight.
